Dr. Amanda McCormick

Amanda McCormick is an Associate Professor in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of the Fraser Valley, a Research Associate with the Centre for Public Safety and Criminal Justice Research, the Commitment Leader for the Peace and Reconciliation Centre’s Community of Practice in Domestic Violence Reduction, and a member of the Network to Eliminate Violence in Relationships. She is also a member of the Abbotsford/Mission Violence Against Women in Relationships Committee and the Abbotsford/Mission Purple Lights Nights Committee, which raises community awareness about intimate partner violence (IPV). Dr. McCormick is also a participant on the Lower Mainland Sexual Assault Investigative Review Committee for the RCMP.
